For the first time, the Western Sahara Solidarity Coalition–U.S. Chapter (WSSC-UCP) participated in EUCOCO in Paris, making a historic appearance to raise awareness about the ongoing struggle for Sahrawi self-determination.
During their participation, the delegation delivered a strong and clear message: while the American community broadly supports the Sahrawi cause, there is still a critical need for greater focus and action on the situation in Western Sahara. They highlighted the urgent necessity for international attention, advocacy, and solidarity to address the hardships faced by the Sahrawi people under occupation.

The WSSC-UCP delegation also denounced the activities of U.S. companies operating illegally in the occupied territories, calling for compliance with international law and ethical business practices. Their statements underscored the importance of holding corporations accountable and supporting policies that respect human rights.
This historic participation marks a significant milestone for the Sahrawi movement in the United States, reflecting growing international solidarity and the increasing role of U.S.-based organizations in advocating for justice, freedom, and dignity for the Sahrawi people.
