About us

The Western Sahara Solidarity Committee (WSSC) is a nonprofit grassroots organization founded in 2025 by a coalition of human rights defenders, Sahrawi organizers, and international solidarity activists. Born from a shared commitment to bear witness to the repression in Western Sahara and to challenge imperialism in all its forms, WSSC amplifies the voices of Sahrawis resisting Moroccan occupation. We advocate for true decolonization and work to build a movement grounded in nonviolence, education, and solidarity. Through public awareness campaigns, ethical witnessing, and policy advocacy, we confront international complicity and support the Sahrawi people in their pursuit of freedom.

Our Mission

The mission of WSSC is to work in solidarity with the Sahrawi people in their struggle for liberation and self-determination. Through education, nonviolent action, and grassroots advocacy, we challenge the long-standing brutal Moroccan occupation of Western Sahara.
